Head Attorney

As the head attorney of the firm, Ms. Ryu’s practice primarily focuses on immigration law, business law, and general civil litigation matters.
She brings a wealth of experience in handling immigration claims and related matters. Many of her clients recognize her commitment to resolving complex immigration issues and continue to lean on her representation.

Before starting her career as an attorney, she worked for several years at LG Electronics U.S.A., Inc., primarily handling employment and immigration issues in the Corporate HR Department.
She has a unique and unparalleled expertise in assisting Korean companies within the U.S., combining her practical corporate experience with her legal prowess.  Prior to establishing Ryu Law Firm, she was a lead attorney at a national firm handling complex immigration cases.

Ms. Ryu obtained her J.D. at American University Washington College of Law in Washington, D.C.  She was the recipient of Edward C. Bou award, given to a foreign-born J.D. graduate with the highest academic achievement.
She also has a Master’s degree in Business Management from Michigan State University.
